2000 Loop The Nuke 5K ROAD RACE raises $3,000.00 for The United Way
9 Children crossed the 1 mile fun run finish line, 3 Walkers completed the 3 mile fitness walk, and 78 Runners crossed the 5K finish line at the 7th annual Loop The Nuke Road Race on September 23, 2000 at Catawba Nuclear Station, York, S.C. to benefit York County United Way.
Awards: John Patterson (Charlotte, N.C.) was the overall male winner with a time of 17:23. Fe Lobo (Columbia, S.C.) was the overall female winner with a time of 19:35. David Gee (Gaffney, S.C.) was the male Masters winner with a time of 18:36, and Connie Southerland (Rock Hill, S.C.) was the female Masters winner with a time of 23:44.
